​Neil Stephens is a National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer (nasm.org) and a Certified USA Boxing Coach (usaboxing.org). Neil is a certified corrective exercise specialist, he can help you strengthen and rehabilitate injuries.


​Following a successful 20-year career in amateur and professional boxing, Neil earned his certifications and worked as a fitness trainer for Crunch, then at Hollywood’s prestigious Emerson Hall Fitness, where his client list ranged from A-list celebrities and professional athletes to clients recovering from injuries and those brand-new to exercise.

Neil brings his years of career experience and expertise as a personal trainer to offer highly specialized fitness programs that are personally designed for each client. 


In his 20-year boxing career, Neil earned several highly regarded titles in both amateur and professional boxing arenas, including Georgia Golden Gloves, PAL and Southeast regional titles. His talents as a boxer took him to tournaments throughout the U.S. and internationally, where he was a world ranked professional boxer. He applied his skill and discipline in the ring to become sparring partner to several world champions. Having been “ruled by the scales” as a boxer, Neil is well-versed in both weight-loss and muscle-weight-gaining techniques and the importance of doing so using a safe and controlled approach.



Neil began studying all aspects of physical fitness, training, and nutrition in the late 1990s, and after receiving his NASM and USA Boxing Coach certifications in 2006 started working as a fitness trainer for Crunch gym in Hollywood, California. Neil’s talents as a trainer earned him a position with Emerson Hall Fitness in Hollywood, where his personal training sessions included everything from preparing actors for film roles to helping models slim down and tone up for photoshoots. In addition to the glamorous side of fitness, Neil has helped the client’s body build and gain muscle mass, rehabilitate from sports injuries and other medical conditions, and start a fitness program for the first time – always with an individually designed program of exercise and nutrition.

NeilStephensGetFit.com spent a few years based in Seattle training the techy community there. It was during this time the pandemic hit, with the support and patience of his wonderful client base, Neil was forced to take his training online. Both the clients and Neil could not have been more pleased with the results, Neil’s clients continued to get the results they had been accustomed to and managed to avoid putting on the pounds like so many people did. Training with Neil virtually a few times a week during those long months of quarantine was an amazing stress release and a healthy escape from it all.
